or how i got another Nifty Fifty.
Lately, I been thinking about selling my more-than-i years old Canon EF 50 1.8 Mark I and guess what… I just bought another one
. Well, after all the fun i had with my little lens the other day, i decided to keep it and get a lens hood for it. I ended up browsing Vancouver craigslist because all the local camera stores didn’t have anything in stock and the Canadian prices are not that friendly after all, even though the exchange rate is not that bad. And bingo, i found what i was looking for as a part of the set, that owner was kind enough to split and sell the fifty alone (thanks James
). Moreover the lens came with original Canon ES-65 clip on hood that i was looking for. I put that little sucker on my camera and made an improvised field trip to Kitsilano beach ( awesome place, especially in the evening ) and was thinking about visiting the 49th Parallel Coffee roasters (my fav coffee place in town) on 4th and Arbutus to pick up some fresh roast but, unfortunatelly, time was an issue. Anyway, i took some nice pics there, jumped on sky train to Burnaby and found this awesome light blue old school Chevrolet, standing right across the street from my house. I just could not pass this opportunity even though i was late for dinner ;-( … I spent couple minutes to take couple snapshots of that gorgeous car, please enjoy :
P.S.: Thanks to James (previous owner of NiftyFifty) the lens woks great
EDIT : According to Google this is 1955 Chevy Bel Air
