Saturday morning i felt like doing nothing, so i spent most of my day just doing useless stuff like thinking whether i should sell my 1987 Canon 50 1.8 Mark I lens, which was really hard to get. Lately i found that i’m not using it as much as i like to for no reason. Well actually i got some new and old lenses that kept me busy, so i had to take 50 out of my Crumpler bag about month ago and put it on a shelf to accumulate dust… silly me :-( So i decided to put it back on my camera and snap some shots around the house… wow. Somehow i managed to forget why i liked that lens so much… The camera just feels like over sized point and shoot (or a large rangefinder which i will get one day just to see what is all the hype about) :-) and the images that this little plastic buzzing little monstrosity manages to produce are just ?stunning?… well at least they have certain character.

  1. I love the broom handle shot! Did you light that yourself with off camera flash or is that existing environment lighting?

Just the afternoon sun shining on my BBQ balcony. Still drooling over the wireless triggers… but might get huge reflector for now. It seems like we gonna be getting some sun this summer in Vancouver
