This weekend the weather in Van was pretty bad, so i spent some time messing around the house taking pics of random stuff in my improvised photography studio. As it turned out taking pics of small objects is a great fun, but the process takes a lot of time and requires extreme attention to details.
Hey, I'm back with more pictures. And I'm excited to announce that i've broken my "Visits to Steveston" annual record and now it equals to 2 :D. Our friends invited us for a late dinner on a deck of Blue Canoe Restaurant and i took my trusty camera and tripod for a little walk... well it turned out great. The food at Blue Canoe was delicious, even though we had to wait to get decent seats on the patio. I did'n complain cause i had great opportunity to snap couple shots of my friends and some random stuff which can be found in plenty over there, in a great warm sunset light. Read more about me @ Steveston ...

Yay!!! Even though it is raining today, we somehow managed to get the entire month of real summer weather here, in Vancouver. And finally, i started to sort out pictures of my little vacation. Those were taken at my favorite near by location - Burnaby mountain, which is a very nice place for watching sunsets.

or how i got another Nifty Fifty.

Lately, I been thinking about selling my more-than-i years old Canon EF 50 1.8 Mark I and guess what... I just bought another one :-o. Well, after all the fun i had with my little lens the other day, i decided to keep it and get a lens hood for it. read more

Saturday morning i felt like doing nothing, so i spent most of my day just doing useless stuff like thinking whether i should sell my 1987 Canon 50 1.8 Mark I lens, which was really hard to get. Lately i found that i'm not using it as much as i like to for no reason. Well actually i got some new and old lenses that kept me busy, so i had to take 50 out of my Crumpler bag about month ago and put it on a shelf to accumulate dust... read more
